Description: The talk will explore topics such as the AAMC's advocacy strategy and Student Loan financing. The AAMC's focus areas in medical education include: AI, Nutrition, and Medical Education Research, and will be discussed during the session.

Invited Speaker: Katherine (Kate) McOwen, PhD, MSEd, is the Senior Director of Medical Education Initiatives at the AAMC. In her role, she works with educational and administrative leaders, faculty, staff, and students from our nation’s medical schools and teaching hospitals on a variety of programs supporting their professional growth and development. Before working with the AAMC, Kate directed a bidirectional, cross-continuum evaluation system of faculty, courses, programs, and learners at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
