The workshop will assist faculty in the development of plans they may have for a study involving education research. The workshop is scheduled for two sessions a month apart in order to allow participants time to develop and revise their research plans.
The activities will include short presentations that cover essential elements in research design, including the development of a focused research question, conceptual frame, and use of appropriate methodology. Facilitators will assist participants in shaping plans for a research study that can be implemented or submitted for funding, as necessary.
