Session Description: In this journal club–style session, we will read and discuss the article “Don’t Be Reviewer 2! Reflections on Writing Effective Peer Review Comments” by Watling, Ginsburg, and Lingard. Together, we’ll explore what makes peer review both challenging and impactful, reflect on strategies for writing constructive, collegial feedback, and consider how to apply these lessons in our own scholarly reviewing practices.

Learning Objectives:
  • State the primary purpose(s) of peer review.
  • Describe several strategies for how to conduct a high-quality peer review.
